Good news mama:

Over the past decade, I’ve worked in women’s health as a registered nurse, supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Along the way, I earned my CLC, CBC, and IBCLC credentials and developed a deep passion for infant feeding support. In 2023, I founded Laci Jones Lactation to bring compassionate, evidence-based lactation care out of the hospital and into families’ homes — supporting parents at every stage of their feeding journey.

10+ years supporting parents + babies

When I realized a full milk supply wasn’t part of my story, we found a rhythm that worked for our family. All six of my babies thrived with a combination of breastmilk and formula, giving me real, lived insight into both the challenges and the wins that come with infant feeding.

Through two twin pregnancies, postpartum depression and anxiety, and time in the NICU, I’ve lived many versions of breastfeeding and pumping.

You're not
alone - I've been
there too

I’m  also a mom of six — yep, two sets of twins! When I’m not supporting amazing families like yours, I’m probably chasing toddlers and snacks, sipping cold coffee, tuning into a podcast, and soaking up the beautiful (and very loud) chaos of family life — usually all at once!

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) &  Registered Nurse.

If feeding feels hard — or even if it doesn’t — you’re welcome here!  Support doesn’t require a problem. Sometimes it’s about reassurance, education, and knowing you’re on the right track. Lactation care can be preventative, supportive, and empowering at any stage of your feeding journey.

how do i know if i should book a lactation visit?

Yes! Pumping is breastfeeding, and bottle feeding is also a skill babies must learn. I support families who are: Pumping occasionally or exclusively, preparing to return to work, choosing or using a breast pump, needing flange fitting or pump optimization, navigating bottle feeding challenges and more.  All feeding methods are valid, and support should meet you where you are!

Can you help with pumping or bottle feeding?

Yes — absolutely! Breastfeeding is natural, but that does not mean it is easy. Feeding is a learned skill for both parent and baby, and challenges are incredibly common. Seeking lactation support does not mean you are doing something wrong. It means you want support, reassurance, and guidance during an important season.

is it normal to need help breastfeeding?

Many insurance plans cover lactation services. I am an in-network provider with:
Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Cigna, Health Partners, Meritain, UnitedHealthcare (UHC), UMR, Intel Connect Care, PacificSource, Oxford, and Empire. For all other insurance plans, I provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

will my health insurance cover my visits?

An IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) is a healthcare professional with advanced training and certification in lactation and infant feeding. IBCLCs support families with breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, and feeding challenges. My role is to provide evidence-based, compassionate, and personalized lactation support from pregnancy through weaning.
